🔒 Important: All this data is stored using iOS's standard UserDefaults system, which keeps data securely on the device in your app's private storage area. No one else has access to this data, not even us as the developers.
🎵 5. Audio Features
Space Explorer includes audio narration features to enhance the educational experience:
- Text-to-Speech: The app uses iOS's built-in
AVSpeechSynthesizerto narrate educational content. This happens entirely on your device with no internet connection required. - Audio Files: Pre-recorded audio narration files are included in the app bundle. No audio is recorded, transmitted, or stored outside the app.
- Microphone Access: Space Explorer does NOT access your device's microphone and does not record any audio.
🌐 6. Internet Connectivity
Space Explorer is designed to work completely offline and does not require an internet connection:

- App Deletion: If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

Parents and guardians have full control over their child's use of Space Explorer:
- Profile Management: Parents can create, edit, or delete user profiles at any time.
- Progress Reset: Profile data can be reset by deleting and recreating a profile.
- Complete Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently.
- No External Communication: The app has no messaging, chat, or social features.
🔄 11. Data Deletion
You have complete control over your data:
To Delete a Specific Profile:
- Open Space Explorer
- Tap on edit icon on your profile card
- Tap the delete option at the end of the pop up screen
To Delete All Data:
- Uninstall the Space Explorer app from your device
- All locally stored data will be permanently removed
⚠️ Note: Since no data is stored on our servers, we cannot recover deleted data. Make sure you want to delete before proceeding.
🌍 12. International Users
Space Explorer is available worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is transmitted to servers, there are no international data transfer concerns. The app complies with privacy regulations including:
